His role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, tech, finance, and legal, to drive agreements and tech integrations. For the past two years, he has specialized in cross-border payments with Builders, managing relationships with banks like JP Morgan and Citibank, and onboarding merchants for cross-border payment solutions. He also leads the cross-border payment team, streamlining processes across operations, finance, tech, and product.

He has significant experience in the fintech industry, particularly in the cross-border payments sector. He has been actively involved in adapting to regulatory changes, especially the evolving guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which are updated twice a year. For instance, the recent PSEB guidelines introduced by RBI in October dramatically altered operational processes, and he has worked to ensure compliance with these new standards. His expertise extends to handling various types of digital payments, including cards, UPI, and local payment systems. In addition, he is familiar with popular payment wallets in India, such as Paytm, Google Pay, and PSP apps, which he has used extensively for both local and cross-border transactions. He has also played a key role in implementing solutions that cater to these payment methods, ensuring seamless integration for clients and smooth transaction processing across different platforms.
