Interview Assessment Notes
|
1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Egypt and began his career at PSP, a bar service project company, where he worked as a sales engineer specializing in electrical panels. During this time, he developed skills in client outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building, attending numerous industry events in Egypt.
In September 2023, he joined XXXX in the UAE, where he works as a B2B sales engineer specializing in IoT tracking devices. In his current role, he approaches new clients, understands their pain points, and customizes IoT solutions to address their specific needs. He engages in discussions to better understand the challenges clients face and recommends tailored solutions, sometimes setting up proof-of-concept (POC) tests for potential clients in the UAE and KSA regions. His day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, conducting meetings, and ensuring successful solution implementation.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
He describes his strongest skill as the ability to adapt to any field or situation. Whether it's adjusting to different industries, working with diverse clients, or navigating new challenges, he is able to quickly understand the environment and effectively tailor his approach to meet the demands of the task at hand. This adaptability has been crucial in his career, especially when transitioning between different sectors like electrical engineering, IoT, and B2B sales.
3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more?
He has worked in a sales-driven environment and has several examples of exceeding sales targets. During his training at XXXX, he achieved the target of selling 100 devices. In a worldwide interconnect sales project, he was the only person from the Middle East office and managed to exceed expectations, achieving 50% of the overall sales. Currently, his monthly target is 10,000 K oil, and he has consistently achieved 80-90% of this target, reaching 100% in October.
His sales strategies include educating the client, supporting them rather than just focusing on making sales and understanding competitors' weaknesses to gain an advantage. He also uses LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Twitter, and attends events to drive sales. Additionally, he is very comfortable working with CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce to manage client relationships and sales processes
