1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has extensive experience in treasury management, having worked for 10 years in a private investment company in Singapore. In this role, she reported directly to the CFO and worked closely with beneficiaries, including CEOs and CFOs from different locations. Her responsibilities included managing foreign exchange transactions, placing daily deposits, and preparing daily reports.
At the same time, she was responsible for managing more than 20 accounts across various global projects, including those in Canada. She worked with Southeast Asian banks and dealt with different financial structures and project management.
In 2023, she transitioned to a larger-scale role in Dubai, working for a coal trading company. There, she managed accounts in India, Kazakhstan, Russia, and the UAE, and gained a deep understanding of how banks in the UAE operate, especially in terms of fixed deposits and foreign exchange transactions. She was part of a small team and, as the senior member, took on the responsibility of training new team members and overseeing the execution of payments. Additionally, she worked extensively with the SAP system and was involved in consolidating bank statements from international offices in countries such as Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Japan before sending reports to top management.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
She considers herself to be highly committed to completing tasks, especially when it comes to handling urgent payments. She believes that leaving work unfinished is not an option, especially when there is a priority payment that needs to be processed before the cutoff time. She ensures that every step, from processing the payment to confirming its receipt, is completed before she leaves.
In addition, she highlights her strong negotiation skills, which have been developed through years of experience in managing financial transactions and coordinating with multiple stakeholders across different regions.
3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more?
She does not have direct experience with MT4, MT5, or CRM systems, but she is confident in her ability to learn these tools quickly. She has strong connections with High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) through UBS and is experienced with MS Office and various software tools.
In terms of handling business risk, she emphasizes her ability to analyze which options are reliable, risky, compliant, and easier to manage. For her, business risk is closely tied to account closure, and she is adept at evaluating and managing such risks effectively.
