1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has about 3 years of experience now as a Software QA Engineer/Tester in XXXX where she’s exposed in both manual and automation testing, as well as API and performance testing across e-commerce and other industries. She’s also involved with defect management POC and is in charge of sending end-of-day reports while mentoring/leading junior QAs; she also collaborates cross-functionally to ensure high quality releases. Her first project was a global B2B ecommerce project for a manufacturing company based in Japan that supports European regions, North American regions, and APAC regions as well; they have executed test cases for their clients’ e-commerce site, she designed and created test scenarios herself, test conditions, plans, and executed manual test cases as well such as sanity, slow progression, integration testing, and such. She also led defect triage during that time and used Katalon Studio for their automation testing. Her 2nd project in this company is for an alcoholic beverage company based in Australia and New Zealand, another e-commerce site; her current project with them is another e-commerce side for a big tech company in Korea.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be her manual testing skills since she has been doing it for more than 3 years now; at the same time, she has about 2 years of exposure already with automation testing for TOSCA and Katalon Studio. Good with API testing using Postman and performance testing with JMeter. Rates herself a 5/5 in manual testing and about 3.5/5 in automation testing.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She has 2+ years of experience in QA Automation since she started her career doing manual mainly. She also has knowledge with banking and financial services since her educational background is accounting; also worked as an accounting staff initially so she’s familiar with banking regulatory and compliance standard. For tools, she’s mostly familiar with Katalon Studio, and for methodologies, SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall.
