She has been in the software development field for more than 5 years now. She can say that her solid manual testing experience is 3 years now and in her current company which is named Infor, they are also currently practicing or performing automation testing. She said that as a manual tester, her role is to crate test cases, test scenarios, and they are also responsible for the regression testing, integration, web services, third party API testing. In the agile team, they also plan schedule and estimates the projects or future enhancements who’s assigned to them. On the automation part they are doing the automation using application the XXX develop which is a proprietary application and use the XXX language as well. After a year they migrated to selenium cucumber automation framework. Most of their documents are written on the framework and for manual testing they are currently using excel sheets. - What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She is currently taking selenium courses because she knows that selenium is very popular or in demand in the industry today. She said that she has ana experience in using Java as a programming language for 1 and a half years now and with 5 years of experience in manual testing while 2 years in automating testing especially with the use of selenium framework.
