1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He’s currently a Software QA Engineer with 4-5 years of experience now. He started his career with XXXX as a Test Automation Engineer where he picked up lots of automation testing skillset including Java, Postman, and more. After that, he moved to XXXX as a Software QA Lead Analyst where he mostly did manual testing but still did a bit on the automation side using a no-code automation tool. Back then, he also collaborated with clients from all over APAC; he acquired several skills including task management, defect triage, and dealing with UAT cycles as well. He’s currently with XXXX as a Software QA Engineer, it’s a fintech company so they work with banks for financial compliance, financial fraud, using both manual and automation testing, also does lots of functional, regression testing, and more; he gained experience there as well from Java, Python, Postman, Selenium, and familiarized himself with deployment of processors using Jenkins, Elasticsearch, and for clouds, has used AWS and Azure.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be test management; he’s good with creating test plans, going through the requirement documents, drafting test cases, and also had to lead project test plans from scratch up to test execution and until the end of the project. On top of that, he’s good with dealing with lots of clients, manage their expectations, and communicate effectively to solve any issues. On the technical skills side, he’s good with Java, Selenium, creating test frameworks for automation scripts, and related ones. In terms of domain, he’s now working with fintech, banking, previously with insurance, shipping, and mostly B2B clients.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has about 4-5 years of experience now in both automation and manual testing. Has strong foundation in software testing theory, methods, test case designs, and also good with Java programming language together with Selenium. Apart from that, he has hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks as well, and knowledgeable with continuous delivery practices.
