Senior, Chief Customer Quality Engineer, Semiconductors Client-handling Problem-Solving

  1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
    Have been in the electronics industry for about 25+ years now. First job was with XXXX way back in the PH as a process technician mostly in wire band assembly where she get her first experience in the semiconductor manufacturing. She also has experience in the semiconductor packaging when she joined her next company which is a supplier of steel semiconductors. She worked there as a Quality Engineer Associate and focused more on the packaging. Last 2008, she went to Taiwan and joined XXXX, a PCB supplier for semiconductor, originally as a Customer Quality Engineer but currently she is already an assistant manager. For the 15 years experience of being a quality engineer, she was able to handle big clients such as Apple, Qualcomm, Skyworks, etc.
  2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
    Strongest skill in the technical part would be handling clients and her strong problem-solving skills. She has solved lots of technical issues in her current and past companies and also good with FMEA, SPC, and such. She is also involved with some R&D and new product introduction on microchips. She’s knowledgeable as well with the road map technology of packaging. Has strong leadership skills and is very flexible.   
  3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the client’s requirements?
    Has 25+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry (manufacturing, process, assembly). Has a strong background with semiconductors and can rate herself a 4 out of 5. Strongly familiar with the Asian market’s semiconductor industry especially Taiwan, Korea, and has handled Southeast Asia region before. She also handles their US client and travels back and forth there to do business. Not directly involved with sales and marketing but works closely with sales department and can easily learn/involve herself in doing sales and marketing of microprocessor and semiconductor products.
