1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He finished his Masters last 2004 in Pattern Classification, Neural Networks but since the Machine Learning field back then is not that known yet, he proceeded and worked as a Software Developer for XXXX, XXXX, and also was a Project Leader for XXXX where he was involved as a solution architect for migration including data migration, software migration, and others. He then took a break and started doing his PhD, was also an Assistant Professor for XXXX for several years before and after his PhD. He went back to work and joined XXXX as a Senior Research Engineer where they developed ML/DL algorithms, worked on speech-to-text, text summarization, and such. After that, he moved to XXXX as a Senior AI Scientist where he was heading the data science team and developed mainly data science and ML projects. He is currently with XXXX as their Principal Data Scientist where he was mainly working on the retail domain and digital marketing space; he’s also into generative AI aside from machine learning and computer vision.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be machine learning, computer vision, and also in terms of the technologies, he’s proficient with Python, PySpark, and Hadoop. For ML libraries, he’s good with TensorFlow and Pytorch. They are using models from GPT as well and has been into Gen AI recently.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has PhD in Computer Science. Very well-versed with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning as well. He has been doing purely machine learning for about 14 years now and is strong with Python, also has some experience with R programming language before. Great with Tensorflow and Pytorch, also knows Azure and GCP for cloud platforms.
