1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started his career as an Electronic Engineer for XXXX where he was working on Radar RF circuits including schematic input, PCB layouts, and more. After that, he joined XXXX as a Senior Application Engineer where he developed mainly home multimedia products such as CD/VCD/DVD and AM/FM radio. He also joined XXXX afterwards, also as a Senior Application Engineer where he developed basic car multimedia reference platforms, has worked with Japan Panasonic, Germany BOSH, SoundMAX, and more. Then he started his FAE career and was a Senior FAE Manager for XXXX where he led the whole FAE team with FM transmitters and receivers, troubleshooting, and so on; he also helped them working with wireless microphones, again both on transmitter and receiver side. After that, he joined XXXX as an FAE Manager where he developed Miracast hardware platform for Microsoft USA, also cooperated with Intel in developing WIDI receiver hardware and more. He is now working with a startup that he put up together with his classmates.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be supporting his customers in all aspect, especially ones coming from different regions including Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and others. On the technical side of things, he’s good with field application engineering management, wireless video transmit & receive, and such. He has also published his own technical articles within different Asia EE magazines.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has worked within field application engineering for more than 18 years now and eventually did management/leadership roles in the same space. He has experience with PLC commissioning and automation, together with different protocols (Ethernet/IP) during his time with XXXX.
