1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
After his Bachelor’s degree graduation, he pursued MBA but due to some reasons, he did not finished and had to go back to China. He then joined several companies including XXXX, XXXX, and also XXXX as a Senior Sales where he mainly worked with tech and consumable products in the Guangzhou branch. After that, he joined XXXX as a Senior Sales Engineer where he mainly worked with LED and HID lighting, joined XXXX as well as a Senior Sales Executive for testing and inspection services where he mainly got his quality control experiences. During his time with XXXX, he was a Sales Manager for CCTV Security Systems; it was his own startup and he was the one who developed new accounts and manage existing ones as well in the Great China region. Afterwards, he joined XXXX as an Account Manager where he again was involved with testing and certification services and product line includes IT/AV (Power Supply), Battery, and LED lighting; he was in charge there of building, maintaining, and developing relationships with key accounts. He then worked for XXXX as a Sales Manager where he mostly sold thermostat, fuse, and temperature sensors mainly; he was responsible for both the sales & marketing activities in the home appliances industry in China. His last role was with XXXX as a Business Development Manager where he developed a business development strategy & planning to identify and evaluate new sales, marketing growth opportunities. They are a service provider and their main product is Overseas Value Added Tax Refund service through various industry.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be his sales experience, especially B2B sales; also good with marketing management since he has been doing these two line of works for many years now along with business development and key account management. In his last role, he doesn’t have a sales target since he’s more of a business development manager but he helped them develop their market and customer-base from zero to one; he has collected market information, did e-mail pitches/sales pitch to customers, and introduce their solution to them. In his previous job, he has contributed about 10M RMB per year to their revenues for temperature sensors, thermostat, and more.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has strong background in doing technical sales and business development, for more than 20 years now, mainly in electronics, IT/tech, and related industries. He can do demonstration, product trainings, installation, and find out what is the real pain point and needs of the customers. He has extensive experience within the manufacturing industry, together with electronics, home appliances, and has great network within the local market as well. His experience with quality control spans from his testing and certification exposure where they sold quality management and quality control type of systems; most of them are smart computer system, AI-powered, and cloud computing-focused.
