After her studies, she found a job within the audio industry because of her passion in sound. She started off as a Sales but after few years, her boss had the confidence to give her a better position so she got promoted to a Sales Manager where she was responsible for all the marketing and sales side of their productions. She was with XXXX and was handling Pro Audio Technology; they obtained many countries for exhibition such as the US, Germany, Russia, Dubai, Indonesia, and more. After 8 good years there, she was asked by one of her colleagues to join his newly built company where she got involved from zero to one; she helped build everything from website, catalogue, marketing research, and the brand from ground. Strongest skill would be everything about the audio industry including audio technology, market information, and customers/connections in the same space. The past few years, they were focused into building the brand and the company itself and just last year, they got one of their biggest sales which was 10K RMB in total for a single deal. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has been doing audio-related sales and marketing since the beginning of her career, so for about 14+ years now; strong with professional audio products including speakers, sound systems, loudspeakers, and more. Her coverage is mostly China and APAC; also has touched the European market. Their customers are mostly their partners since they do their own brand; their partners then would be the one to sell their products to end users. 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? Has been in the audio industry for the whole of his career; started working as a Technician and Sound Engineer for tours, travelling around Italy and other European tours. From there, he kind of moved into the business side of things, becoming a Technical Sales Support Manager for XXXX, a professional audio manufacturer who also produces accessories, lighting, and others for the entertainment industry. He grew into the sales role during that time where he took over the sales of touring equipment such as loudspeakers. After several years there, he moved over to a company called XXXX, premier amplifier manufacturer in the world for high-level power amplifiers for concert applications, installations, and so on. He worked with them as a Regional Sales Manager under their touring market vertical including amplifiers used for concerts or large live events; he was an instrument for them in moving away from having a market vertical approach to a regional approach after he took over the EMEA region for a few years. He then moved to XXXX, a portfolio company that owns several brands, as the VP of Sales initially before taking up a more global role. He considers himself a data-driven person, even though working with sales and technical training, he also has the need to understand the trends, what’s happening in the market, and just see what’s happening around; because of them acquiring another large group, he had to do a lot of data cleaning and building out a set of reporting to be able to go back into sales with the right information. He ended up pivoting into a more strategic role there including human resources, finance, and so on; with one foot still completely into product requirement, sales, and partner management. Right now, he is doing his own consultancy and adds value/talking to a few pro audio companies especially in Europe. He spent the last six to seven months doing market research on China market within pro audio, talking to manufacturers, distribution companies, SIs, consultants, and basically the whole spectrum. Strongest skill would be looking at things holistically, seeing the interconnectivity between everything. He also has a more global outlook on the industry rather than just being focused on sales or manufacturing; has great knowledge of the industry in terms of sales, strategic side, and as a whole. Apart from these, he is proficient with data and always try to look at everything with an analytical eye, have a data in front of him, see what’s happening in the environment, and all. The biggest growth driver he was involved in was a project with XXXX, a normalization of their data together with the acquired company and worked together on the consolidation of the data together with partners and sales team, give the training and strategic advice on what the needed to be doing; it was the first time they’d gone over half a billion dollars as a company and that rooted from the fact that they could actually see what they were doing. He previously worked for a company called Soundtrack in Poland during his time with XXXX, he was able to get about 10-15M USD from that sound installation project. 3. He has more than 20 years of experience in doing sales and client-facing activities, has always been in the audio industry, specifically within professional audio, prosumer audio, equipment used for touring such as loudspeakers, amplifiers, and other high-powered ones. He mostly sell to theme parks, churches, corporate, government, transportation hubs, live and touring events, school, government, and more; strong coverage within APAC and some from EMEA.
