1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has roughly 20 years of experience in the IT and digitalization business, he has had many transformations during his career either in technology or business environment. He has been working on the energy domain and started his career as a Software Developer in the early 2000s then transitioning to Agile transformation, Scrum master, and product owner type of roles. He also took on CTO and architecture point-of-view roles, doing heavy technology-focused tasks, while also managing teams and departments. He is currently working with XXXX as the Head of Software Engineering where he’s mainly responsible for building software capabilities, he has delivered digital solutions across B2C, B2B, IoT, EV, and related ones for the energy domain. As part of the leadership team, he contributes to the digital strategy and roadmap of the company, oversees the development and operations across cloud platforms, leads cloud architecture, and many more. Previously, he was with XXXX as a Manager for Data & Analytics where he led operations of their data and analytics platforms, he also led their global vendor relationships, service contracts, and drove modernization of API management as well and cloud platforms. He had earlier roles with XXXX as Development Manager where he again developed digital services for B2C, B2B, EV charging, and more; he was also a Software Engineering & Technology Manager for the same company.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be aligning technology into business since he has been doing that for the whole of his career. Apart from that, he has a strong technical and architectural background that he can bring in for his next jobs, and has a great way to work around people and helping them grow in success. One of his greatest achievements is helping his current company build their software engineering team from scratch, they started with no software engineers then gradually building up the whole team and growing successfully in terms of ongoing projects.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 20 years of experience on the engineering industry and has more than 10 years of senior leadership positions, mainly managerial or head roles. He has been involved in platform engineering in his current company, in XXXX, and also XXXX, including SRE, cloud architecture, and such. In terms of cloud technologies, he’s mainly familiar with Azure and AWS, and has bit of hands-on experience with Google Cloud for about a year. He also implements DevSecOps, quality assurance, and automation as well across digital services and manages API platform, integration layers for their customer and operational systems. He’s good with Kubernetes, IAC since they are working on that every day, and has been discussing in using Kong API as well although haven’t got the chance to use it professionally yet. Industry-wise, he’s mainly into the energy domain, previously with payment cards, credit cards, and would be willing to touch the media and AdTech space as well if given the chance.
