1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He was recently with XXXX as a Senior Sales Engineer where he was predominantly involved in presales; there was some after-sales support as well. He worked closely with account managers in building the sales pipeline and doing the initial discovery, calls with potential clients, then anything technical along the way, he would be involved including what their current technology is (hardware/software), figuring out what solution integration they have, and basically technical analysis of their current infrastructure and mapping their workflow. Some of the projects he has been involved with are fine tuning barcode scanning, printing labels to a patient’s wristband when he supported a federal healthcare, installation and provisioning of software, set up physical infrastructure, and so on. He has mainly worked with federal healthcare, state government, local government, education sector, and some non-profit orgs as well. Before this, he was doing a blue-collar job as a Water Treatment Specialist/Technician.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be mapping the customers’ workflow to actual technical requirements, and coming up with both the functional and non-functional requirements of whatever solution they need to implement. He’s also good with project management, coordination, and communication with different people involved in the process; has great business acumen as well and can fit in his customers’ shoes to see where they are coming from. He was previously involved with an Electric Medical Health Record modernization project which is still ongoing for over 100 sites now, and has influenced a 12M direct in annual revenue for a federal healthcare project.
