1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He has worked in 4-5 different companies before joining XXXX, which is his current employer, as a Lead Data Engineer. He has a good hands-on experience on building software and applications across all AWS cloud services, along with programming languages such as Python, Java; good with creating software and data solutions from scratch. He is part of the AI and Data team here where he manages both the data and AI platform; his role is to manage infrastructure and manage the frameworks that they provide to data units. Apart from the technical side, he’s also doing stakeholder management, talking to BUs, getting their requirements, and then breaking it down into technical specifications to convey it to the junior data engineers, developers, and AI engineers. He’s also involved in MLOps and LLMOps activities since they are building an enterprise AI platform for the company. On a daily basis, he does a lot of enhancement, purely written in Python alongside AWS services. Previously, he was working in India for a couple of consulting companies. From 2019 onwards, he started working into data and AI space, and before that, he was purely working in Java full stack development. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be data and AI since he has been working in this space for the last 6 years; although he considers himself cloud and programming language agnostic. Strong with Python nowadays but if there are any needs for him to write codes in Java, he can do that as well confidently. On the AWS part, he has good experience on most of the data-related services such as Spark, EMR, RedShift for data warehousing, and on the ML part, he has used SageMaker for managing some of the ML workflows, and so on. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has been in the AI and data space for about 6 years now, and has been doing Java backend development for almost 10 years now. Strongest with Python, great hands-on with micro services, FastAPI, and has used different databases as well including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and some non-SQL databases as well. Well-versed with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, has been doing MLOps deployment into traditional machine learning as well, and also uses Airflow for orchestration on a daily basis.

He is currently a Lead for Data and AI projects, and is working on three machine learning projects: first one is a pricing model that predicts price for items, second one is for converting data into SQL using AI, and the third one is a marketing tech solution for automating marketing campaign and customer profile generator. On a daily basis, he spends about 60-70% of the time in coding and development, about 30-40% for documentation and communication/coordination with different stakeholders. He also gets requirement from business and convert it into code-level and help them drive the business. Before this, he was with XXXX as a Lead Data and AI Engineer where he was involved more in the data side; he was first building various data models such as sales, customer model, logistic data model, supplier data models, marketing data models, and more. He also built some data-related products, leverages the use of API, CI/CD, containerization, infra setups, monitoring, and cloud deployment. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be within the area of data and AI since he has been in this space for the last 6 years. He has proficiency when it comes to Python programming, machine learning, and is continuously learning this area. He has strong exposure within the retail and logistics domain but is flexible to any other industries available in the market including banking, finance, and ecommerce. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has around 5-6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering space, strong exposure with major retail companies in Singapore. Uses Python on a regular basis, together with Go, Java, and other tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, and such. He has also been involved with MLOps and deployed machine learning models. Also uses Airflow in current role for orchestration and scheduling.

He’s now a Certified Engineer after completing his Apprenticeship Program with XXXX, where he and his team engineered an end-to-end demand forecasting solution for a major retail client in Singapore. He attended the 9-month program with them and it started off with a two-month deep scaling in AI followed with seven months of hands-on project work. The project they did, as mentioned previously, was for a local major retail company to help them build a forecasting solution. On a daily basis, he worked with his team in every phase of the project; he was the one responsible for building a neural network model, long/short-term memory for the demand forecasting, and focused on that until the end of the project. Before this, he had 6 years of global consulting experience in different companies, mostly net sustainability sector. His first job was a Senior Engineer for an environmentally sustainable design where he oversaw rebuilding certifications for real estate projects. After that, he joined a UK-based company to advise global clients on converting their data into a model, so they can develop actionable decarbonisation strategies including creating digital twins to assess the performance of energy-saving technologies. He also worked with a startup where he applied data analysis to optimize the digital models. His passion right now would be leveraging machine learning to extract profile insights from complex data sets, and he’s driven to deliver impactful AI solutions that advise sustainability and business value. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be his expertise in simulation modeling for net zero for the built environment since he has spent many years in that industry. Apart from that, he’s good with building anything from scratch especially in the AI space. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has almost a year of hands-on experience now with AI/ML engineering and he also spent a few years studying/developing his skills in this area. Strong expertise with Python and would be willing to learn more about micro services and APIs as well since they didn’t had the chance to do that on the apprenticeship program. Has knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization as well.

She has recently completed her graduation from XXXX, majoring in AI and Innovation where she learned some AI technologies, research, and some management concepts as well including entrepreneurship and management of AI team. She has overall 8 years or experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence and she works specifically with clients such as one from the telecom industry for a typical machine learning project; she did the entire pipeline from scratch to the deployment in their own environment. She has also worked on RAG, a part of LLM and a chat bot-based application, and when she worked with XXXX, she built RAG from scratch using GCP, AWS, and LangChain framework. Her last role was with XXXX as a Lead Data Scientist where she worked on the governance side of the project; the project was a legacy code to be converted to Python. She worked on the AI management and ISO 42001 certification, and was able to successfully get the certification for the project. Her daily role back then was to work on the development side of the project which is COBOL-based code; she also successfully changed the language model from Gemini to OpenAI. Her tech stack includes programming languages such as Python, Jupiter, Git, VSCode, and when it comes to data science and traditional machine learning, she has been involved with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, visualizations, and business storytelling, data modeling, and so on. During her university, she completed about two projects on image processing through TensorFlow; she also has fine-tuned large language models using the PEFT and LoRa technologies. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be machine learning, particularly traditional machine learning; she has worked on transformers, fine-tuning different models, LLM-based applications, and so on. She considers herself quite good in the entire AI system since she has worked from the old machine learning, traditional machine learning, to the recent advancements in AI. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? She has about 8 years of experience in AI and ML engineering, especially during her time working in India. Strong Python skills and has been using this for all of her projects, also hands-o with micro services and APIs, together with databases such as SQL and AWS S3. Well-versed with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Airflow and MLFlow for orchestration.

He has about 14 years of experience building mobile and backend systems for numerous companies. His most recent company was XXXX where he served as a Staff Software Engineer; he was previously working on a platform called XXXX, which is the primary business domain under CFI. Apart from that, he was involved with other products called XXXX and different trading bots; he used to build and deploy over 200B users across the app and his primary goal back then was to take control with the API contract governance. On a daily basis, he’s involved with 60-70% coding with iOS, predominantly Objective-C and Swift; they’ve totally migrated everything to Swift and modern architectures back then. The other 30-40% of his time was spent with managing different stakeholders like backend engineer, product, UI/UX, and quality team. They also reserve about 10% of the week for release-related checklists and bug fixes, etc. The mobile team for XXXX consists of about 150 iOS engineers working on a single application but the team structure is divided in squads, scrum teams, and his squad has about 10 iOS engineers and 10 Android engineers working on the product pipeline. He was directly reporting to the Mobile Engineering Director based in Singapore. Before XXXX, he was with XXXX as a Staff Software Engineer for iOS where he worked on a team called In-Store Payments, primarily delivering products for the QR code and in-store contactless payments for them. He also worked with XXXX as a Senior Software Engineer where he did iOS and Android development, developing some micro services for the payment integrations with the mobile app, and mostly for utility customers to pay their bills. The first 4-5 years of his career, he spent in a consulting firm where he worked on different Android, iOS, cross-platform mobile applications for various clients across Middle East, Singapore, Australia, and more. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be his deep involvement and knowledge with different technologies; he started as an Android Engineer then slowly moved into iOS, cross-platform, and also proficient with building micro services and backend systems. As a technical candidate, he is great in adapting into any kind of environment that the project or company requires, has the initiative to go deeper and ask questions from different stakeholders to build something meaningful. When it comes to tech stack, his primary language would be Swift, hands-on with Python, Golang, and can brush up his skills in frontend web skills as well. On the tooling side, he has experience with Xcode, Kubernetes, AI workflows, Cloud Code, and more. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has about 14 years of experience in the backend systems engineering and has about a year of experience studying AI/ML engineering. Hands-on with Python, strong working with micro services and APIs, as well as both non-relational and relational databases including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and more. Strong with Docker, Kubernetes, and would be willing to learn Airflow as well if needed. Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-a-code.

He is an AI Engineer currently working in XXXX, he specializes in large-scale model deployments across different cloud providers such as Google Cloud and AWS. His main line of work is using Kubernetes to orchestrate the model deployment process, also done some evaluation of different inference engines, orchestrating distributed multi-GPU clusters, and more. Apart from that, he has helped with the building of data pipelines as well as agentic workflows using N8N to facilitate the platform engineering process. On a daily basis, he mainly work on the model deployment, involved in looking to optimize the use of their GPUs to deploy these models. He started in this company with the apprenticeship program, mainly worked on NLP projects. Right now, the greater team is about 30-40 people in size and for the smaller sub-team, they have a lean team of less than 10 people mainly working with the engineering team; he’s reporting to the Engineering Manager based in Singapore. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be within Kubernetes since he believes it’s a transferable skill; he also believes he brings value to their company by helping with the deployment orchestration. Along with that, he has knowledge in large language model deployment optimization such as using KB cache offloading and different forms of caching in order to optimize the performance. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has about 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering and has experience with deploying MLOps to traditional machine learning. He uses Python quite frequently together with microservices and APIs; has experience with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Airflow for data processing pipeline.

She recently completed her Masters in AI at XXXX and completed her Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering. Earlier into her career, she worked with XXXX as a Blockchain Product Developer, they were basically a blockchain-as-a-service where they took out the traditional tech stack, swipe out the database layer, and insert the new block there. After that, she decided to pursue her Masters while having a short stint with XXXX as a Finance Project Manager where she learned more into accounting processes and reconciliations; she was primarily brought into the finance work to understand and see where there is scope for digital automation. In the process of that, she ended up creating a mock-up for a Balance Sheet Reconciliation app. Currently, she’s working with XXXX as a Machine Learning Engineer where she’s involved in the creation of the application for data collection which entails standard questions like SRQ, PHQ, and they’re aiming in the end to build a multimodal AI integrating voice and text to be able to differentiate and screen those with mental health issues like anxiety, depression, even mild cognitive impairment. Right now, she’s trying to look at a chat bot version for administrating these rather than straightforward questions so they can be personalized to the individual’s history and answer any queries they might have on the spot. On a daily basis, she’s overseeing the development of the app, do daily consultation, and such. Right now, she’s working with four others in the team, and she reports directly to her Program Manager also based in India. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be designing and deploying AI/ML systems, and has a little experience with the cloud platforms and deployments. She’s currently working a lot with Python, machine learning and natural language processing, also NLTK libraries, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Docker, Kubernetes, and databases such as SQL. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? She has almost a year of experience in machine learning and AI, has covered every aspect of AI and ML during her training as well so she can be involved in MLOps deployment into traditional machine learning. Strong with Python, microservices, APIs, and has worked a lot with relational databases. Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and also willing to learn Airflow if given the chance.
