1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He has been in the consulting industry for almost 17 years now, mostly with Accenture and a bunch of smaller consulting firms. He started from a program/project management perspective then transitioned over time to a Sr. Portfolio Product Manager/Product Leader mainly delivering enterprise-scale transformation programs from variety of verticals such as retail, finance, telecom, aerospace, appliance ranging from XXXX to XXXX, XXXX; on the retail side, he has worked with XXXX, XXXX. His experience is more specialized on the IT software and application development side, back in XXXX, he worked on an Identity and Access Management, taking them from an on prem ecosystem to Azure Cloud; with XXXX, he has worked with a lot of compliance data rights management, product vision and strategy, and more. His latest role was with XXXX as a Scrum Lead where he oversaw about 5 onshore teams (45-50 members); a big part of his role was to setup their whole ecosystem up including their delivery system in Azure DevOps, within two weeks, he set up a program increment planning session while having no access to those tools. He has visually created a whole product delivery roadmap of all things they needed to deliver for their project until he got a hold of the Azure DevOps access. He was also involved in a lot of Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog management, documentation of their work inside ADO, writing out user stories/acceptance criteria for stories, daily stand-ups, and more. Previously, he was with XXXX as a Product Management Lead where he worked with a group of corporate lawyers within the company in bringing the system into compliance with different US laws across different states including federal privacy laws, and more. He was managing about three or four different projects that time as a Project/Product Management Lead, making sure they were in compliance and his team has delivered close to 17 different releases back then which was a record. Prior to that, he was with XXXX as a Scrum Master where he mostly did decommissioning of integrated data warehouse, sunsetting, migrating all data to Microsoft Azure Cloud, and such. He had few more jobs before that with different consulting and started his career with Accenture as well, as an Associate Manager mostly for XXXX. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skills would be within product leadership; basically going in and taking requirements from a client, understanding the product version, and translating that into a product road map. He’s also good with understanding his clients’ vision, strategy, and using the Agile framework to create the road map, usually tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and more. Proficient with breaking down the road map into features and user stories, create a delivery timeline, working with different teams including architects, software engineers and testers, and basically being the bridge between the customer and the technical teams. He does lots of product delivery, release management, stakeholder management, and such. In terms of industries, he’s quite flexible and has worked with telecom, retail, software development; he’s quite open to any industry/sector in the market.
