Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for hardware, software, and network systems. Depending on the level, responsibilities range from handling basic user support to managing complex infrastructure and system issues.
Level 1 – Helpdesk / Technical Support
Responsibilities:
Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Install and configure operating systems and applications
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support
Maintain documentation of support requests and solutions
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
0–2 years of technical support experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and basic networking
Level 2 – Systems & Network Support
Responsibilities:
Handle escalated technical issues from Level 1
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings
Monitor and maintain network and server performance
Perform system updates, patches, and backups
Support hardware and software deployment projects
Requirements:
2–5 years of IT support or system administration experience
Knowledge of LAN/WAN, Active Directory, and ITIL practices
Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and cloud tools
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Level 3 – Senior IT Support / Infrastructure Engineer
Responsibilities:
Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions
Manage system migrations, network configurations, and cybersecurity protocols
Provide technical mentorship to junior IT staff
Liaise with vendors and ensure IT compliance and security standards
Requirements:
