Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable and secure network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of network systems to support business operations and improve connectivity across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
Manage and optimize LAN/WAN, WLAN, and cloud network systems
Implement network security measures, including firewalls and access controls
Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, and system backups
Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and scalability
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and processes
Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend improvements
Provide technical support and resolve escalated network-related issues
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar role
Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major networking equipment
Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
Knowledge of virtualization and SD-WAN technologies
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
