He is currently a CTO of a regional payments fintech in Hong Kong, where he leads technology strategy and oversees product development for mobile wallets and merchant acquiring platforms. His role involves scaling engineering teams, modernizing architecture, and ensuring platform reliability. Previously, he was the Head of Engineering at a digital wallet provider in Singapore, delivering mobile-first payment solutions and cross-border remittances. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Technology Director at a global payments processor in Hong Kong, managing enterprise gateway deployments for banks and merchants. 

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?

His strongest skills includes payments infrastructure leadership, architecture modernization, and scaling teams. He specializes in building secure, cloud-native systems for payments, implementing blockchain for settlement, and aligning technology roadmaps with business goals. he is also highly experienced in managing distributed teams across Asia, fostering agile cultures, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions with high availability and security.

3. Do you have the list of key criteria according to the client’s requirements?

He has over 16-17 years of technology leadership experience, with deep expertise in payments, wallets, and merchant acquiring. He has a proven track record of scaling engineering teams, and is frequently travelling across regions for business purposes. Previously, he has led the launch of a cross-border payments platform that processes over 2B USD in transactions within its first year, integration blockchain-based settlement and achieving regulatory approval across HK, SG, and Malaysia.
