Last 2001, worked for a logistics company called BAX Global as a System Analyst then was promoted to Project Manager. He would often discuss with global clients XXX and setup the warehouse for these clients as well as provide IT solutions for their customers. Lead a system development team in China, total of five developers reporting to him. He’s responsible for gathering requirements from client then pass to development team. Then worked for XXX as a Business Development Manager which is very similar to his past role. Also has experienced as Regional Supply Chain Manager in XXX which he is responsible for P&L for all Supply Chain Services. Transferred to Barloworld Logistics as a Supply Chain GM. Not much of the technical side in that company but rather more of the business development side. Worked also as a General Manager for XXXX and Business Development Manager at XXX. Later on, he joined DCH Holdings as IT Manager then transferred to XXX as a Consultant Manager where he was responsible for clinic core and ERP system. Right now, working in a Logistics Warehouse Automation Integrator in BPS Global Group. Quite a lot of projects here for warehouse automation and robotics technology. Also responsible for deploying the warehouse.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
He is very confident and familiar with Logistics System, especially in Warehouse Development and Automation. Also has experience in software development, familiar with SDLC and other project management methodologies. Worked with Logistics since the start of his professional career. Has basic knowledge of LiDAR technology and Laser Scanning, not confident with technical background of it but it will be easy for him to pick up since he’s experienced on sales role. Also has lots of experience in business development and dealing with clients. Not really familiar with mapping and surveying. Very familiar with Technical Sales/Sales Engineer roles since he has been a business development manager before and has to do sales as well as provide technical solutions to clients.
