1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started off as a Software Test Engineer during the early years of his career, he did that for about 9 years then moved to being a QA Manager. His last role was with XXXX as a Senior Manager for the Software Development team where he worked primarily as the project manager/point person for all the requirements that came from their product team based in the US or stakeholders. He did all the project management for the entire software team, QA managers were reporting to him, and had about 20+ direct report working under him. He has worked with the major project management tools and directly communicated with CTO, CEO, and people from the higher management for weekly updates, reports, and presentations of projects. The last project he handled with XXXX was a healthcare-related platform for both doctors and patients use, he managed the web platform team back then and the entire note-taking features. Before this, he was an Engineering Manager and Software Test Manager for the same company, and was a SQA Engineer before these roles.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his people skills, being a project manager he thinks it’s very important to have a good and strong team, as well as good relationship with stakeholders, basically managing and communicating with people. Aside from that, he is a disciplined person overall in terms of projects, teams, and all the things needed to be aware of when doing project management.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has about 5+ years of experience in doing project management and is familiar with mix of waterfall and Agile, also has certification in Scrum and doing his PMP as well currently. For ticketing tool, he has extensive experience in JIRA and also can be comfortable working with both in-house and third-party applications. He is fine taking up project management roles or people management roles at this point and can support projects from end-to-end as well.
