1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started working with XXXX and some distributors before moving to current company. Most of his experience is within vendor-level and mostly sits between channel managers, allies, and account coverage since they are doing hybrid model. Currently, he’s with XXXX as a Channels & Alliances Director where he’s managing Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and more; they are selling subscription license technology and over the last four years of his career, he is an individual contributor managing different people working with partners and influence the executive. Before this, he was with XXXX and XXXX as the Head of Business Development where he worked on firewalls and endpoint solutions, he was responsible for the marketing side as well, drive brands, penetrate market, and such; in ACW, they worked mainly with digital AI.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his ability to adopt to new technologies and he’s been using GenAI a lot these days; he’s also a fast-learner and tends to do a lot of self-learning. During his time with XXXX, he was responsible for the product development and was assigned to do market study which he had to learn from scratch that time. In current company, they have two motions: renewal at a single-digit percentage now and new order at 1M-2M USD for new license subscription.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has been working in channel sales for the past 20 years; has strong partnerships and alliances experience as well. He started as a Sales with XXXX then transitioned to channel later on, wherein his KPIs are mostly channels. In terms of alliances, he is working currently with AWS, Azure, RedHat, ServiceNow, and Alibaba as well previously. His experience is not specifically from mobile app security but he has cybersecurity experience in general, has worked on endpoint security, cloud security, and similar businesses; he worked with HP as well with multi-vendor network including switch, firewall, checkpoint, Fortinet, and all security products. One of his biggest SI/MSSP partners would be DXC, Fujitsu, Accenture, and more. Has partners based in Thailand as well including Agoda, AIA, and more.
