She was born and raised in New Zealand then started her career with shipping and logistics, she was working with the likes of XXXX, went to XXXX, and had her MBA as well. She also worked with XXXX and ran a North Asia shipping line for them for a number of years. After their financial crash, she decided to go into technology and payments; she was recruited by XXXX, they had presence in the US, Europe, and Australia but had zero presence in Asia so she helped them build their network through word of mouth from her existing network in Asia. When she left them, they were operating in 16 markets and had 34M of ARR which is one of her biggest successes there; she also sold a payment gateway product to lot of countries, had XXXXas one of her customers that time and she did all of their network infrastructure globally. Then after few years of her stay there, they were brought by a private equity partnership so she joined newly launched payment product that had a partnership with Oracle; they were just in the initial stages of developing the partnerships back then and she was able to lead the management and sales for 6 teams across APAC. Her last role was with XXXX as the Head of Sales and Commercial Partnerships, the company launched a white label solution that they sell to acquiring banks for their SME customer base. Basically, she did sales, developed new markets, took on new products to market, and the likes; she has built their infrastructure, set up legal entities, dealt with different legislators, and has great relationships in 14 markets with legislative.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be closing deals and she even have a system that she developed herself consisting of hurdles they both need to jump, so she can measure or know if the customer is really interested on the deal; apart from that, she has great understanding whether a deal is actually real or not. She’s really good and creative commercially and is very strong on making money and deals; considers herself a good problem-solver. Her last revenue target is about 7M USD gross and her attainment has been up to 19M-20M per year.

3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She has more than 12 years of sales leadership experience in the Hong Kong/APAC market, and almost 19 years of experience in partnerships and alliances mostly with APAC and with a hint of Africa, Middle East; has worked with Oracle, Bank of America, and more. Also has been exposed with fintech and payment solutions for the past 8-9 years of her career so she is already familiar with Hong Kong regulatory and labor law, landscape; she’s been in Hong Kong for the last 15 years so she has established a strong network within the market. Great track record of business growth contribution, P&L ownership, and scaling teams from scratch.
Her experience in cybersecurity is more on the formation of infrastructure and technology of the company, she has done network security for payment networks that they built for banks, as well as cloud security for MIG platform. The most partners she has managed was during her time with XXXX, they had three partners per market and she was looking after 16 markets in total; if talking about full-on partners, she was having about 23-24 at that time. Previously, she had a good partnership with TymeBank in South Africa where they white labelled the solution to them; she worked with a few reps back then. One of her best partnerships was in Thailand, with a company called INET (an ICT solution and cloud service provider) and they did a joint venture eventually that led to 37% market share within 12 months.
