1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been in the sales management for about 20+ years, mainly within B2B sectors. Earlier in his career, he was working with the manufacturing and industrial sector before he shifted his career to tech-related companies and positions. He is working for some freelance duties and work while looking for a full-time job. Right now, he’s working on a few roles including a full-time capacity for a membership platform associated with golf, sports, and high-end travel where he’s serving as a Business Directory for a team of 6 people, helping them do partnership work in Hong Kong and GBA area; they’re trying to build a loyalty program for them. Apart from that, he also works with XXXX as a Business Development Director where he basically partners with their Founder and CEO for building a MarTech platform for the company; he also does partnership with some brands, does promotion campaigns, and so on.
In his last role with XXXX as the Business Director, he has helped the development of cross-border loyalty platform in Hong Kong from scratch; he has actively acquire merchants locally as well, no matter how big or small, to build the loyalty platform in the local market. They also have built e-wallet for their end-users and have built up the community in order to get their earnings from development. Before this, he was the Sales Director for XXXX, Regional Sales Manager for XXXX, Business Development Manager for XXXX, Senior Sales Manager for XXXX, Account Manager for XXXX, and started as a Sales Manager for XXXX.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be key account management since during the earlier years of his career, he has managed a lot of distributors or big key accounts that gave him this skill. Apart from that, he’s good with new business development and is great with doing everything from scratch. On top of these two, has great team management skills and can roll up his sleeves to do things; good with building up teams and individuals to work together. One of the biggest achievement he had recently was onboarding flagship clients with his previous company, which includes XXXX which is a famous F&B, Hospitality group and also XXXX which is a big conglomerate in the field of hospitality, retail, and such. He considers himself strong with new market engagement and is good working within a startup culture, can join another startup if given the chance.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 15 years of experience in building partnerships and alliances especially when he was working with platforms. He’s good with networking, how to do win-win situations, create synergies, and add value to partners within the APAC, Southeast markets. His experience is more on the SaaS and mobile app platforms but he would be interested to work within the cybersecurity space as well if given the chance. Has track record in building GTM pipelines and strategies as well as different channels.
Has more than 20 years of experience in doing sales management, about 1+ years in the enterprise SaaS and tech sales. He has great experience with digital loyalty and rewards from his previous full time company and also had few more freelance projects in the same space (SaaS, SI, loyalty platforms). Has great track record in sales and revenue growth, has previously exceeded about 400% in their project pipeline growth, sustaining about 15M USD business across APAC, developed new verticals and attained a revenue growth of about 2M USD from one of his previous companies. His clients are coming from F&B, lifestyle, consumable brands, and some from fintech as well; familiar with setting up businesses locally as well since he have his own company and is exposed to doing registrations, licenses, and such.
