1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been in the IT industry for more than 30 years now, started with more technical hands-on role then for the past 15 years, he moved to sales and management. He is currently with XXXX as a Regional Partner Manager and is involved directly with channels; he is helping his current company develop their channel ecosystem, grow the distribution and partners side, and so on. On a daily basis, they connect with the ecosystem including partners, distributors, and most of them are SI; apart from building trust, they also help them solve problems, track them by doing joint business plans, QBRs, and build incentive/loyalty program. He is also involved in enablement for both the technical and sales team.
Prior to this, he was working with XXXX where he held three roles, initially a Systems Engineer then moved to Channel Management after about 2 years where they created a channel team and helped them build, grow the channel ecosystem for Aruba; afterwards, he moved to a Territory Manager role where he handled white space sales, connect with channel and build relationship with partners.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his exposure and working experience with IT distributors; he was previously the division manager for technical side before moving to XXXX. He is also strong from doing presales, channel, and then territory sales. When it comes to his achievements, he was previously handling the country/channel and it increased that time from 4M USD to about 12M USD when he left HPE; their registered partner and promoted partner has grown from only 12 to about 60 active registered partners as well.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 8 years of experience in doing partnerships and channel since he started as a Channel Manager, Territory Manager in HPE and now as a Regional Partner Manager for Check Point Software Technologies. Some of their focus partners right now would include ITPro, Master System, and Berca which sells XXXX products as part of their services since security is a big part of their businesses; they help and support the partner in the technical and commercial side of things. He current handles different cybersecurity products such as endpoint security, AI security, and more. His experience is strongly focused in the Indonesia market as of now.
