She has been in the workforce for over 4 years now and started as a Product Specialist for XXXX and used to support the UK and Irish market. Due to some layoffs, she focused instead on her Master’s and went to do Marketing to learn more about brand management and consumer behaviour. During her coursework, she was offered a role with XXXX and she started as an Intern for them until she graduated then continued full-time afterwards as a Specialist. Right now, she works with them as a Technical Sales Specialist where she generally assists with launches, new media campaigns, and sell variety of products including network, phones, Wi-Fi solutions, and so on. Since she’s a specialist, she is knowledgeable with specifications and is able to guide customers and team in portraying the right solutions; she is good with fitting tailored solution to customers, not just pushing a product onto someone. She also worked for Heineken as a Brand Ambassador where she used to promote a few of their brands and new launches; she worked on a Europe product’s branding team, product promotions, launches, outreach, and such.
In summary, she has always been in environment where she has dealt with people so she’s confident around numbers and people. Right now, she’s looking for opportunities to move eastwards since the current market in Ireland is very small and wants more professional growth. She is someone who’s interested in leveraging her skills in marketing and sales from a much bigger angle with AI and ML growing in the market; she’s exposed right now with telecom, technology, and IT standpoint.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be definitely technical sales, be it account management or product specialist roles; she has done both B2B and B2C models, so she’s good on taking up target-driven roles as well. Right now, since she’s focused with B2C, she’s working with a lot of small businesses in Dublin; her greatest achievement in this space has been retention strategies since most of them don’t have budgets, struggling financially, or wants to switch to cheaper providers. That being said, she is still able to retain key clients of the company over the last 2-3 years. She has consistently exceeded monthly revenue targets by 20% and delivered NPS of about 95%. One of the biggest deal she has won was about 2M USD worth of revenue.
