Interview Assessment Notes

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?

He began in Canada in 2001 as a consultant at XXXX, then returned to Hong Kong and led systems management sales as System Consulting Manager. He then moved through XXXX (presales), XXXX (Engagement Manager) and XXXX. At XXXX he closed pioneering first-time enterprise deals in Vietnam, Taiwan and mainland China through partners. At XXXX (2019 to 2026) he was the first senior SE in the region, built the PAM business in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and displaced an entrenched tier-1 competitor for a landmark contract. After most of the Asia team left, he built a new SE team and moved to the partner side as Lead Partner SE, with channel SEs in Korea, Singapore and India reporting to him (about four people including himself). He handled all inquiries from end users and partners with no sales people on the team. This included early budget and requirement qualification, technical qualification and POCs, and post-sales support, and he trained partners to run POCs themselves. His biggest deal was an air-gapped Australian Department of Defense contract, closed with XXXX, worth about half a million USD.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
strength is the combination of deep technical credibility and sales ownership in identity security: PAM, IGA and endpoint security, with integrations across Azure, AWS and XXXX. He is especially strong in partner enablement and channel development across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Korea, Australia and India, and in building lasting customer trust. His customer base spans property developers (XXXX, XXXX), a Macau casino, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX.
