He describes himself as a services sales specialist rather than an account seller. He started at XXXX (2007 – 2015), selling Cisco and Juniper networking services and security consultancy, and later managed services. He closed a US$6M+ network refresh (Cisco to Juniper) and a 10-year managed services deal with US$30M+ TCV. At XXXX (2015 – 2017) he covered public sector and strategic accounts such as HKJC and MTRC, and at XXXX (2017 – 2018) he was Account Director for hybrid IT and managed security. He returned to XXXX Expert Labs (2018 – 2021), where he drove 50% year-on-year growth in 2020. After XXXX (2021 – 2022) he joined XXXX (2022 – 2025) as services sales lead for Hong Kong and Macau, handling HKJC, EMSD and HKMA and achieving 150% attainment in 2023. He also initiated the region’s first VCF 9 production deployment. He then spent four months at XXXX (2026) on SMB and Taiwan.
His strength is services sales across the full cycle: requirement gathering, solutioning, third-party sourcing, pricing, contracting, and tender and bid ownership. He also bridges customers and delivery teams (PMs and consultants) after the sale. He has covered finance, public sector and strategic accounts, and has experience with private and hybrid cloud, data center and infrastructure services. His cybersecurity exposure is limited to security consulting and reselling (such as Symantec email security) at XXXX.
He is a weak fit because he has no direct enterprise cybersecurity sales experience from a vendor. He confirmed he has not handled EDR, XDR or threat intelligence, and he described himself as a services seller rather than an account seller. In his favour, he has strong large-deal experience (US$30M+ TCV, 150% attainment), C-level and enterprise engagement across finance and public sector, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
