Interview Assessment Notes

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has 4+ years of experience in AdTech and publisher business development, entirely focused on in-app programmatic advertising within the Japan mobile gaming and app ecosystem. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from XXXX University. Her career began as a Business Development Executive at XXXX, an in-app mediation and programmatic ad network, where she supported outreach to mobile app developers across Japan and Greater China. She was then promoted into a Senior Account Manager, Publisher Development role at XXXX, managing a portfolio of mobile gaming and app publisher accounts and helping them optimize fill rate and eCPM through the company’s programmatic demand. Most recently, she has been working as a Publisher Business Development Manager at XXXX, where she leads new-business acquisition with app developers and publishers across Japan, and manages renewal and growth conversations for her existing portfolio.2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?

Her strongest skills are in publisher relationship management and closing new in-app programmatic partnerships within the Japan mobile gaming and app ecosystem. She has built and maintained existing relationships with hyper-casual, mid-core, and RPG mobile game studios, as well as several non-gaming app publishers, and is comfortable being the main point of contact for both commercial negotiation and day-to-day account management. As a native Mandarin speaker with fluent English and working Japanese, she is also often relied on as a bridge for cross-border partner conversations between Japan, Greater China, and regional HQ teams.

3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?

She works directly with mobile game studios and app publishers across Japan, mainly offering in-app programmatic monetization, mediation, and demand partnership services. Sample relationships include a mid-core RPG publisher referred to here as “NeoPixel Games” (Tokyo), where she closed a new mediation partnership that grew monthly programmatic revenue by roughly 35% within two quarters, and a hyper-casual studio referred to here as “MochiPlay Games,” where she manages the ongoing account relationship and quarterly demand optimization reviews. Beyond gaming, she has also worked with a non-gaming lifestyle app publisher referred to here as “Tanuki Mobile,” onboarding them onto a programmatic demand stack and closing a new-business deal that expanded into two additional apps in their portfolio. She has full knowledge of these products and partner types, as she has been focused on the Japan mobile AdTech and publisher ecosystem for her entire 4-year career.
