1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is a Software Engineer with strong experience in C++ and has been working on that for a few years now; he’s also good with RTL-related tasks like emulation, compilation, low-level, MCUs and MPUs. He is one of the Founding members of XXXX as an Embedded Software Engineer where they created their cybersecurity products from scratch, he’s in-charge with one of their chips, microcontroller, and went into actual routing of the components as well; then he took charge of both boards and development of both chips. He created their own protocol on top of SPI, secure protocol, and everything; basically he took charge of the end-to-end software development side.
Previously, he was with XXXX as a Software Engineer, he was a part of the research & development team where he collaborated with chief designers and testers/evaluators and did everything from pre-compiling the design, working with the team that did the FBA initialization for testing, a lot of firmware stuff.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be C++ since he has been working on that for many years now; he is also willing to learn more about RTOS, even though he has handled Linux with RTOS already in current role but would love to explore about it. Apart from that, he’s good with JavaScript, a bit of Python, Typescript, Java, and also Golang.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
In terms of his embedded software experience, he has about 2 years of experience back in Qualcomm and almost a year in current company; but he thinks it’s more valuable because he has created a product from scratch and has participated in every step of the way. Strong with Embedded C and C++, and since his current stint is a two-man startup, he is heavily involved with all the coding for the software side of their cybersecurity product; that includes software design, development, up to implementation. Has experience with oscilloscope for debugging and can work well with schematics and data sheets.
