1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is currently a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer for a major Semiconductor Manufacturing company where he’s working on controlling machine software, maintaining OS, and firmware of the circuit that runs on the machine. He has been developing software and firmware for about 30 years now, mainly using C language or Assembly language; he is responsible for the architecture, development, and optimization of embedded firmware for their machines. He does both low-level hardware control and RTOS, implementation of digital logic using VDHL to expand system capabilities and optimize real-time processing; he does strong hands-on development and coding in this role as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be making simple structure about very complicated functions as well as real-time programming; he’s good with making code on a very limited resource such as microcomputer and asynchronous process on the OS. He usually develops in C and Eclipse environment, specializes in semiconductor manufacturing and software.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has almost 30 years of experience in embedded software and firmware engineering, focused mainly on the semiconductor manufacturing. Strong with C and C++ programming, uses it on a regular basis in development; also good with software design and implementation. He has been using lab equipment for hardware analysis and software behaviour analysis, mainly oscilloscopes, multimeters, and such.
