1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has about 20 years of experience now and started his career as a Compiler Developer for 2.5 years. From 2008, he started working for the automotive domain and joined XXXX as a Senior Software Engineer; he worked back then with Powertrain ECU, AUTOSAR compliant ECU-based development and testing. After that, he joined XXXX as a Technical Lead where he was deputed to Denso, which is a supplier of Toyota, and was predominantly into the technical line, solution architecture, and so on.
He then moved to Japan and worked with XXXX as a Project Lead Developer where he started working for the tier-1 OEMs in Japan; he worked there with INCA, transmission control unit for autonomous transmission, and worked with his customer within safety modules, ISO 2 system-compliant software module, from requirement analysis until the testing. After some time, he was directly recruited by XXXX as an Automotive Specialist, mainly worked with technical proposals creation, assisting sales people, and join them as well for any discussions with customers and explain their technical solutions to them. Due to the pandemic, he had to move to XXXX as a Specialist where he developed front camera as a product, both on the software and hardware side; their customer back then was Honda. After a year, he moved to XXXX as a Solutions Architect where he worked on their pilot team for the technical proposals and won contract with several customers as well. He also worked with XXXX where he was hired as a Solution Architect for a French-based automotive company.
Right now, he’s back to XXXX as a Program Manager responsible for managing big accounts, managing customer problems, offshoring the work, get the work done, and see the delivery all throughout. He has to connect to the delivery manager of India to make sure the costing part, support the sales team in Japan, and so on.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be the ability to understand the customer needs, pain points, and being able to align technically with those needs; including using the right technology, coding, for the products they develop to match their customer expectation. On top of that, he has great cultural understanding of the market, can do technical sales, proposal creation, and such; he can also speak Japanese with local OEMs in Japan.

3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been doing software engineering since he started his career, and has been into embedded engineering (mostly software side) for more than 5 years as well. He has worked within the automotive industry for more than 15 years; has built relationship with tier-1 OEMs in Japan including Honda, Nissan, and more. Proficient with C, C++, embedded RTOS such as AUTOSAR, as well as CAN communication development. He has worked with simulators mainly but can be involved with multimeters, PCBs as well if given the chance. Hands-on with schematics and data sheets for peripheral components for design analysis; uses JIRA for defect tracking as well.
