1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He was an Electronics Engineering student then started working on VPS Linux Servers, WordPress, and such from 2014 to 2020; it was a Dispatch Engineer role where he worked for a company but was being deployed to client systems every now and then. After that, he joined an internship with an Energy Optimization firm where he worked on real-time embedded systems such as mesh networks and networking. He pivoted to IoT and software afterwards including developing applications for IoT, dashboard, and more.
He completed his Bachelor’s education in 2022 and his Master’s in 2024. During that time, he also worked for his own college where he deployed some projects for the campus. He then joined XXXX afterwards where he worked on several projects such as an ETL pipeline, migration of COBOL database to AWS, JAXA (ground to air communication system) for drones and manned aircrafts, and so on. On a daily basis, he picks up tasks from JIRA, involve himself in two to four week sprints, and uses different programming languages for different projects.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be the whole embedded software architecture, hardware, prototyping, and the end-to-end development; from PCB design to development of systems to prototyping. Other than that, he’s good with mobile application development, data-related ones, and backend development in general. In terms of tech stack, he’s proficient with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Linux, Python, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy; on the embedded side, he’s good with Embedded C, DSP, ESP-IDF, MDF, ARM Programming, and more.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has solid 4-5 years of experience in embedded software development; has always been involved with hands-on coding, contributing directly to software design and development. Strongest with Embedded C programming, C++, RTOS, Modbus, CAN communication, and more. Aside from that, he’s familiar with network analysers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and can do soldering as well if needed. Part of driver development would be reading schematics and data sheets so he’s also knowledgeable with that.
