1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has more than 20 years of experience now within the software engineering industry and about 10 years in current company; he’s with XXXX as a Senior Manager where he does technical support for the system product they were selling in the Japanese market. He also does customization to adapt to Japanese customers, do solution development on which sensors their customers’ will require, and so on. Apart from this, he’s involved with pre-sales and after sales, sometimes do onsite support, and communicate closely with their HQ in Germany.
Before this company, he had a short stint with XXXX as a Software Engineer, working on consumer electronics and automotive software using C, C++, Java, and low-level language. He also worked with XXXX as an Embedded System Engineer where he did embedded software development, close to the hardware side, and had lots of experience working with microcontrollers, ASIC, and others specific for digital cameras. He did the system design back then, development, firmware implementation, and so on.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be firmware development and technical support (field application engineering) since these two has been the main highlight of his overall career. His tech stack is composed of C, C++, Java, Python for scripting, and Lua for sensor application development. Currently, the product development is done by the team in Germany so he is more focused on product and technical support.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
More than 10 years of total experience within embedded software/firmware engineering, and has great exposure with electronics, automotive, and other consumer products. Strong hands-on development experience with C and C++, can contribute effectively with software design and implementation since he did that for XXXX and XXXX. Also familiar with AUTOSAR and real-time OS also during his time as an Embedded System Engineer; he has used different lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and more for hardware analysis.
