1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is originally from India and has been in Japan for a little over 3 years now; his overall experience would round up to about 9 years now in the field of DevOps and SRE. His first role in Japan was with XXXX as a Software Engineer III where he also worked as an SRE. Afterwards, he moved to XXXX which is his current company, as a Software Engineer, SRE and is a part of the marketplace SRE team and going in the direction of using AI and LLM-related tools to enhance incident management experience of their engineers. A very small portion of his daily work includes handling support-related tasks, also develop new processes to enhance incident management experience, investigating and exploring few tools around the AI space, and design new features and design for implementation.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be handling different AI tools, identifying them, and adding them onto his skillsets. Basically, he’s good with software development, in Python, in using different monitoring tools, DataDog, and has enhanced his CI/CD skills as well throughout the years of his career. In terms of the industry, he has mainly focused on fintech and ecommerce as well most recently.
