1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has around 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has started his career with XXXX as a Senior Software Engineering. From 2011, when he joined XXXX in Japan, he has been working with Japanese customers and has been travelling to Japan since then. He also had a short stint of about 1.5 years in XXXX as a Project Manager before going back to XXXX as a Technical Project Manager. He is currently in Japan and is working with a chemical-related manufacturing company, he’s involved in the development of their application in .Net technologies as well as full stack technologies such as React, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. Most of the projects he has done with this company is related to the manufacturing domain and whole factory maintenance. On a daily basis, he attends daily scrum meeting and assign tasks to his team members, reviews code, create branches for releases, and maintains database design, architecture, and more.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be development and technical project management since he has been doing these two side-by-side for the past few years; he’s proficient with different technologies particularly in .Net and full stack technologies, as well as backend queries. In his current role, he’s 70% involved in the development side and 30% in the management side.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 10 years of experience in managing and handling people, as a technical project manager. Aside from manufacturing, he has worked with semiconductors, banking, and similar industries; has mainly experience in full stack development but can adapt with embedded development as well if required. The biggest team size he has managed so far is up to 15 members, cross-cultural from China, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and India.
