1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started working in Japan for about 20+ years now and started as a Trainee for XXXX; he was Design Engineer and Senior Automotive Design Engineer where he was involved in both software and hardware design, he also bridged the Japan and Philippines team. After some time, he moved back to Japan and was a PCB Layout Design Engineer for XXXX where he worked more on camera modules for mobile phones. He shortly moved to XXXX as a Project Support/Bridge Engineer where he started doing software validation for Toyota products; they were focused mainly on smart access systems of Toyota, validated how their system work, and created more than 60-page procedure from scratch for newcomers to execute testing easier going forward. After some time, he was let go since he was only a contractual employee, so he had to shortly do Assistant Language Teaching in Aichi. Then he started to find his way back to automotive and joined XXXX as an Engineering Team Leader, he was positioned in XXXX in XXXX for wiring harness design again; he was the project lead for more than a dozen of engineers under his wings from Japan, China, Philippines, French, and others. Afterwards, he joined XXXX as an Infotainment Team Leader where he did software validation more on IVI infotainment system for vehicles, he did vehicle testing and bench testing as well. He also worked with XXXX as an IVI SW Test Engineer where he did the exact same thing as in XXXX such as validation, bench and test drives, and more. After that, he moved to XXXX as a Corporate Applications Engineer where he did lots of training with customers about their tools, introduced their tools, and such. Then he wanted to be in a higher position, so he joined XXXX when they offered him a project management position; although, he didn’t lasted on that job because he was doing 2 roles at the same time. He is now with XXXX as a Test & Validation Development Manager where he’s responsible for managing the SW system level validation implementation and on-time delivery of test results for their customers Nissan and MMC.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be customer communication, people management, and connecting as well both externally and internally with their global teams in managing projects. He has experience handling teams from China, Cairo, States, France, and in Germany as well. Also, since he’s a validation manager, he is good with handling customer concerns or issues, and satisfy them with a resolution; great with building relationship and rapport with their customers.

3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Most of his experiences in Japan for the past 25+ years has been spent in the automotive software engineering space; he has great experience handling software and requirement teams, managing projects and issues, and such. Has more than 5 years of senior leadership experience as well; has handled about a dozen engineers plus global teams under his wings on his previous engagements. He had some trainings about C and C++, he knows how it works as well as embedded system development but he’s not directly coding or involved within development itself. Most of their systems are Linux-based so he’s most familiar with that. Can speak Business-level Japanese which is equivalent to N2 in JLPT.
