1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has around 19 years of experience now in the automotive industry, spread across working in OEMs, service-based companies, and tier 1 suppliers. Previously, he was with XXXX as a Lead Engineer, worked on global programs for the USA market so he had the opportunity there to get exposure in managing teams across multiple locations, interact with suppliers, and such. Currently, he has been with XXXX for the last 7 years as a Technology Manager where he’s working on multiple projects for ADAS; he’s working now with a client and is involved with front camera and other domain controller projects for them. On a daily basis, he would interact with their different teams such as system validation, software, and ensure that everybody follows the process and project is going as per their plan; he’s also meeting with customers on a weekly basis to share KPIs and reports to them. He started off as a Software Engineer and Embedded Engineer, handling automotive-related projects as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be program management or project management; he also has been working as a test manager for multiple programs for the past 6-7 years now, as well as requirement manager for the past 3-4 years. With this experience, he thinks he’s capable enough to handle complex or large-scale projects, especially within the automotive domain since he has been in this space from the start of career.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Coming from an engineering degree and has strong embedded engineering experience as well from the early years of his career, working on the automotive domain since then. After that, he moved to managerial roles and has been doing it for the last 8 years now; has handled a team of 16 members previously. Strong grasp of C/C++ and other embedded development tools, ASPICE process/assessment, and is knowledgeable with different RTOS environments as well. On top of his technical skills and knowledge, he also has good non-technical skills including stakeholder engagement/management.
