His last role was a CTO of a regional e-commerce platform in Tokyo, where he led engineering strategy and oversaw product development for million of users. His role involved scaling engineering teams, modernizing architecture, and ensuring platform reliability as well. Prior to that, he was the Director of Engineering at a retail SaaS startup in Singapore, where he delivered omnichannel retail solutions; he implemented DevOps practices as well during that time, reducing release cycles by 40%. Earlier in his career, he managed engineering teams at a global marketplace in Tokyo, focusing on high-traffic consumer applications. 

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?

Strongest skills would be within software engineering leadership, architecture modernization, and scaling teams since he has been doing that for more than 14 years now. He specializes in building cloud-native systems, implementing DevOps practices, and aligning engineering roadmaps with business goals.
