1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been into IT industry for about 20 years now and his work has been revolving around the banking and financial services business. He was with XXXX previously for quite a long time and has supported them with their core banking products, he was part of the development production support and implementation back then, basically all the lifecycle of software development. Later on, he moved to some companies where he worked with investment bank projects like XXXX and for the last four years of his career, he has been mainly into the payment domain and supporting major clients in Japan; he is also involved with enhancements, new infrastructure, and new modernization in banks.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his customer-facing skills and his ability to sell things and ideas to customers together with his background in the banking and payment sector. He can go to clients confidently and pitch his ideas or implementation while at the same time, understanding their own infrastructure systems and what they really need for their business. Industry wise, his niche would be in the banking, financial sector, and is open for fintech and related industries as well. Currently, he is involved in both technical and management side, and can say he handles 50% of each.
