1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He’s originally from Bangladesh but has been residing in Japan for about 8 years now. He graduated around 2005 then joined a telecommunication company as an Engineer, later on converted to a Manager where he started to work in SAP as well. After that, he joined XXXX as first an Implementation Manager where he has worked as a SAP end-user. In the same company, he was assigned to be an SAP Consultant and worked in a managerial position where he led a team and also involved with SAP MM modules, conducting many projects related to cross-modules, SAP enhancements, and other modules as well such as SD, PM & FI, etc. Then around 2017, he got an opportunity to join a Master’s program in XXXX and once finished, he worked with XXXX as a Consultant within the Audit department, specifically focused on SAP applications and database; he delivered SAP ECC and S/4 HANA security and controls implementation during that time. He then wanted to move to his expertise which is consultancy so he joined XXXX as a SAP MM Lead & SLT where he’s involved mainly with domain migrations rather than rollouts/implementations.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be SAP domain since he has been working on this side for almost a decade now. He’s great with configuration on SAP, mapping with business requirements, and the whole business process for SAP projects. Has been working in the Japanese environment as well for more than 7 years now so he’s familiar with the business culture, the environment, and such so he can accommodate himself to it if ever.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has more than 10 years of experience now in SAP functional consultancy and project management; he’s core skill would be MM modules but has experience with other modules as well. Has strong project lifecycle skills, stakeholder engagement/alignment, and also change management since he has to frequently do it in current and previous roles. First-hand experience working with global teams so he can leverage that for his next job. In terms of industry, he has mainly worked with telecom and logistics, but would be interested with pharma-related industry as well if given the chance. Mainly uses SAP methodology and is familiar with both Agile and Waterfall. He has N3 JLPT certificate but he’s now in between N3 and N2 level due to his long stay in Japan.
