1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He graduated with his Master’s last 2002 and joined XXXX right after graduation. He started there as a Software Engineer where he developed VoIP gateway software for NTT, Yahoo, and others. After two years, he was assigned to another subsidiary in China to do project management and handled a few team members for the entire project including design, development, and so on. Then he moved to Japan and also did Project Manager role with them for CTAV STB market of China and promoted the home gateway STB series products to China market; he also managed Chinese vendors that time and was involved in the entire project process. He had few more roles in the same company including Product Planner, Solution Engineer, and System Engineer/Project Manager as his last role, mainly worked on protection management, VoIP, software management, and more on telecom technology such as IP protocols, chip protocols, etc. After that, he joined XXXX as a Project Manager where he needed to go to the customer side every day to negotiate with them, make sure the design specification is well prepared, and implement software specifications, up to testing of projects as well. His last role was with XXXX as a Technical Support Engineer where he supported customers with issues happening on OTN network, handle tickets or become ticket owner, investigate it himself, and escalate issues to software developers if needed.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be project management and technical support engineering since he has been doing this functions for many years now. He’s strong with anything within the telecom and IT/Tech space. He’s strong with many technologies including programming languages, telecom-related products, and more.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 15 years of experience in project management within the IT/Tech space, as well as telecom and software industry. He came from the software development background so he’s knowledgeable with web technologies, development, and integration concepts; also familiar with different project management methodology including Waterfall and a bit of Agile when he was with previous company. Most of his experiences are within IT, Telecom, and software but he would be okay to try eCommerce and retail as well if ever.
