1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is currently working with XXXX as a Senior Pre-sales where he is mainly responsible for promoting their IT services and IT platform solutions. Aside from his current role, he also has some side businesses where he serves as a Mentor and AI trainer. Most of his experiences previously are within business development, sales department, and marketing or product-related roles. Before this, he was with XXXX as the Japan representative for APAC, Japan, and China as well where he did mostly B2B sales also led the transformation of the SDR team, his function there is almost like a Sales Director. He was also with XXXX previously as an Embedded IoT Product Sales Marketing Representative, responsible for establishing ARM/Linux Business unit, and also did product marketing management and business development management for them, mostly for AI and IoT opportunities. Before this, he had a very long time with XXXX as their Sales & Marketing Solutions Program Manager where he drove sales and marketing programs across Asia, developed strategies and insights, and also collaborated with different cross-functional teams globally. He also did product marketing focused on mobile and desktop segments, and started off as an FAE and Technical Sales for the same company.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be doing technical sales, technical product marketing, and also business development since he has been doing it for more than 20 years. Domain wise, he is expert in AI since he has lots of experience in his current role and have some side businesses as well related to AI; he is strong with training AI models mostly for Generative AI.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has strong proficiency with sales and has been doing it for more than 20 years of his career; spent the earlier years of his career with technical roles such as FAE and technical sales then gradually moved up to taking up fully sales and marketing focused roles. He also has great experience selling AI and tech-related roles, also involved in SaaS IT Platform solutions currently; also is comfortable and confident working with small to medium businesses in the sector of F&B and consumer goods. He has experience being in the marketing solutions team before so he’s confident he can take up this role along with his deep knowledge of the Japan culture, business, and market
