Interview Assessment Notes

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
His educational background includes Associate Degree for Business Administration and Management in XXXX and had his Bachelor of Applied Science for International Business at XXXX. While he was studying there, he lead some international projects for a company called XXXX; after that, he worked for an insurance company called XXXX as an Insurance Consultant where he would assist people with insurance-related needs, getting them set up on plans for their insurances through employment office, and medications as well. He also worked with XXXX as a Sales and Service Agent where he sold and created leads for lawn maintenance needs. He is currently working as a Native English teacher in Japan for a few months now.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his ability to adapt to situations especially since he’s a younger individual that doesn’t have experience with everything yet. He’s best at being able to pick up on things quickly and being able to utilize those skills effectively. Also, he would say client-facing roles especially sales would be one of his strongest suit; being able to sell, find what people need and want, and being able to provide a solution/service for them.

3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has sales and client-facing experiences back in the USA and wants to be in the same career path now in Japan. He has great insurance experience previously and can apply those learnings for opportunities in Japan; he knows about the insurance culture, how they work and approach clients, and so on. He also did a year of healthcare-related work back then so he believes this can be used as well. On top of that, he is willing to gain more experience and knowledge from a startup environment.
