1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
After graduation, she has worked in few countries mainly doing sales and business development, she has worked in Thailand, Japan, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. She had to go back to Japan when COVID happened and has been doing freelancing roles and projects since then. Most of her freelancing work is to help foreign startups or companies enter the Japan market including registering their company in Japan, research, and collect documents as well to submit. Currently, she’s doing three projects, one for Australian, US, and Dubai where she mainly do sales and business development tasks. Before this, she worked in Australia as mostly an IT Consultant, HR and Project Administrator; also has worked in Thailand previously where she mostly honed her sales and business development as a Project Coordinator for Automotive parts doing market research, sales, and being bridge between clients and internal teams. She also was a Sales Representative for XXXX where she visited approximately 5 companies per week to meet decision makers and door-to-door sales to different companies per week.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be more on the people side: people management, communicating, leading and building strong relationships as well as a sales and business development person. On top of that, she has handled mostly automotive parts and organic foods as products, for intangible products, she has sold news, subscriptions, and similar services.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She has about 10 years of accumulated experience in sales and business development in different countries. Most of her industry experience spans from SNS marketing, AI, IT, and hospitality; has worked in a café before so she’s pretty familiar on how to target them in sales. She also has experience using marketing tools and CRMs and has proven sales accomplishment especially since she has deep understanding of the Japanese market, culture, and business.
