Has been living in Tokyo, Japan for about 9 years now and has worked in a construction company as an LGS Installer where he installed steel panels and ceilings. After that, he decided to pursue his IT career so he went back to the Philippines to attend CCNA Bootcamp. He went back to Tokyo and was hired by XXXX as a Junior IT Support Technician where he monitored client’s daily operation and supported both hardware and software. They also handled data center projects here such as data migration; also sis infrastructure, server configuration, and network devices. After that he joined XXXX as an AV technician where he was assigned to Microsoft dealing with customer support, network/AV devices monitoring. He also has experience with XXXX as a Data Center Decommission Technician. And now, he is currently a Data Center Engineer for XXXX where he supports daily operations on client’s data center. They also do monitoring, troubleshooting, rack and derack, commission, and anything that is related to data center. - What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his client communication skills and that he is very detail-oriented person. When it comes to technical skills, he is currently in data center so he is proficient with servers and network devices including EXSI, VMware, and Hypervisor. Rates himself a 4 out of 5 in this area. - Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has about 6 years of experience in the data center industry. He is currently doing fiber cabling and testing of optical fiber cables in his current company, this is included in his daily tasks/responsibilities. Knowledgeable with CLI and rates himself a 3 out of 5 in using Linux. Took CCNA boot camp before, doesn’t have the certificate yet but would love to take it in the future.
