She has over 10 years of experience in the industry. She started her career in 2021, with her first role in a traditional Japanese trading company, working as a procurement coordinator for less than a year. After that, she transitioned into recruitment and joined XXXX, where she focused mainly on sourcing candidates for contracting roles and handled the candidate side rather than the client side. She later moved to a small boutique company called XXXX, where she worked with both clients and candidates, although the role was very short-term. She then shifted her career to IT and joined XXXX, a Chinese SI company with development teams in China. She communicated with the China team in Chinese and worked directly with Japanese clients in Japan. She has been involved in three projects so far—starting with a school application system, followed by a year-long project with XXXX, and currently working on a rental car system project for XXXX. She also speaks Japanese.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
She gained IT help desk experience while working on the XXXX, where her role covered a mix of responsibilities beyond PMO work. She supported the global help desk, handled PMO tasks, and assisted as a system engineer, giving her exposure to a wide range of technical activities. She found help desk work interesting, especially since the role also required using English, which matches the JD. She is currently learning SQL and already uses it in her job. She also works with Jira for product management tasks and uses Figma to create requirement diagrams and visual tools.
