1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has worked in the business development field and does management and international trade mostly in the sports (gold) industry. He was previously running his own business called XXXX where they mostly sell sports clothing and materials focused on golf; he was also doing sales and marketing in his company where they handle Japanese market. Before this, he was with XXXX which is an American company, he was involved there in setting up the branding in Japan market and also developed the business in terms of sales and business development. Started off with XXXX as a Director and General Manager where he again operated golf indoor facilities in Tokyo.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be more on the business development, sales, and marketing field mostly in the sports industry, he has been working in the golf industry for more than 15 years so he’s well-versed in this space. He also is good with brand marketing, staff recruitment, and negotiation since he also ran his own company previously.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has more than 10 years of experience doing sales, business development, and also marketing including both his employment and own company experience. He is mostly working on the sports side including materials, equipment, and clothing but also has exposure to cafes and restaurant back in Japan so he’s comfortable working in the same area again if ever. He has CRM tools knowledge as well; he’s currently based in the Philippines because of his family but would be willing to travel frequently to Japan if ever and is also open to go back permanently to Japan if it’s required by the job.
