1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started his career with XXXX, one of the largest IT services firm, as Software Development Engineer and he had worked for about 3 projects including a Content Management System-related one using Core Java, Spring, and Rest-based web services. After that, he opened up a small firm in Bangalore called XXXX but since it didn’t worked out well, he had to go back to the market and worked with XXXX, an EdTech company in Bangalore who offers online courses, as an Inside Sales Associate. During his 3.5 years of stay there, he got approximately 6 promotions and left being a Business Manager, handling about 40 people and driving the business with approximately 300K to 400K USD per month. He then entered XXXX for the first time in India; he started as a Presales Engineer and picked up a couple of certifications for that. After that, he moved to Malaysia about four years back and got an opportunity to work with XXXX via XXXX where he took care of the entire assembly segment for Google. After that, he moved back as a Solutions Engineering Manager with XXXX since they were facing a lot of issues and his personal connection with the founders were very much appreciated; he was able to bring them back from a loss and recently closed a huge enterprise deal for them. His daily tasks revolve around getting on customer calls, understanding their current pain points, mapping them technically, and offering them a technical solution. Later on, he pushes them for a POC then prepare all documentations, sign off, and production.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be customer engagement; whether it’s a customer from Saudi, Australia, New Zealand, or whichever region, his strongest skill is to make the customer comfortable and talk to him. He’s good with understanding where they are, offering them a solution or product, and be with them, basically growing the account. He also has different certifications including a Google Cloud Architect one and in terms of revenue, they recently closed a very big deal in Saudi Arabia’s education segment with about 2M SAR sales value. He has also been promoted as a Forward Deployment Engineer which means that he also spends a lot of time onsite with customer, understanding and mapping a lot of business problems and solutions.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been doing presales consulting and solutions engineering for the past 5+ years, mostly working on cloud solutions and products; has great exposure with Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. He has done workflow automations as part of their Google Cloud services; underneath that, they have a Document AI service where they convert physical papers into digital/online documents. He has worked a lot with SAP integrations, also has a bit of experience with Salesforce and 365; in terms of scripting, he’s proficient with Python. His role right now is 70% more into the customer engagement side and about 30% on the technical side of things.
