1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He moved to Singapore about 14 years ago now, and has been in the US before that, working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and other related contracting roles. His most recent role was with XXXX as a Senior Project Manager where he was involved with dealing with regulators in governments of different countries, negotiations, and making sure the correct compliance was being followed; he also worked with records management, talking to the income tax, and related teams. He also handled stakeholder management for very senior people such as Head of APAC, CEO in UK, and other reports in the US. Most of his other roles in Singapore have been related to compliance and reg reporting; big focus was on FATCA during his time with XXXX, he also did the same thing and automated system for FATCA and CRS for XXXX and XXXX.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be project management and business analysis, also good with stakeholder management, running the working group, sharing committees, and making sure everyone understands what the risks are on the project; good with handling everyone’s expectations and keeping them aligned especially with cross-border international projects.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has way more than 5 years of experience in IT Compliance management and has been doing this for most of his roles in Singapore; so he has great understanding of data laws in SG and in Asia in general, including information security, data privacy, and has supported product teams as well mostly for banking or financial-related software/applications. Deep knowledge of global privacy regulations and cybersecurity practices and has been part of an AI course for project managers which he thinks he can leverage for this AI-focused company. Has lots of certifications and courses related to IT Compliance Management and AI.
