1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been doing product management for about 17 years now and has been involved always from ideation all the way to product launch. His industry experiences spans from telecommunication, banking, and recently into AI startups. He is currently with a startup doing digital assets for a brokerage software as also doing product management. Before this, he was with XXXX as a Lead Product Manager for Payment Integrity where he built AI machine learning products and solutions mostly for the healthcare and insurance spaces. Also was with XXXX as the VP or Head of Product where he ran day-to-day operation and led cross-country remote teams for Deep Learning Facial Recognition solution for banks. He also worked with XXXX and XXXX as a VP of Product/Digital Product Management where he again focused on implementing banking solutions to their clients. He started off as a technical guy, doing software engineering where most of his technical skills are acquired.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be bridging between the business and technology side as a product manager, he has been doing this effectively for many companies now. Also, for him to be able to perform digital transformations, he also is good with stakeholder management. Industry-wise, he has a proven track record on the banking side.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has been in the product management side for about 17 years now, and is well-versed with the banking space especially with mobile payments, NFC payments, and all. On top of that, he is a Certified Scrum Master and a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner as well. He is originally from the Singapore and can speak fluent Mandarin that he can use as advantage for this role; also open to start remote working with the company.
